DNM does not enable patient/caregiver chats or online conversations, but a guided narrative path.
The caregiver reads the story and uses it to share and personalize the diagnostic-therapeutic plan.
DNM facilitates the sharing of research projects based on stories to determine guidelines and best practices.
DNM is a telemedical tool that complies with all health information privacy and safety regulations.

DNM is a technological solution, but also a methodology to collect and interpret stories.
Just having doctors listen to patients telling their stories is not enough. The stories have to become part of the diagnostic-therapeutic plan.
The project orients the collection of stories on the basis of the diagnostic, therapeutic and rehabilitation aims of the medical team and patients.
The project provides for the definition of a set of narrative prompts to guide the patient’s recounting of his or her story and facilitate the caregiver’s interpretation.

TRAINING WITH TOP PROFESSIONALS IN ITALY
Narrative medicine is a complex blend of skills and tools.
DNM works in partnership with OMNI, the network of Italian narrative medicine specialists who can offer CME training days in all therapeutic areas.
The training has mainly an empirical focus and provides operative tools to develop narrative medicine projects in participants’ specific areas and facilities.
The training can be delivered in training days or in residential laboratories.
